Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and cooperation among students.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a respectful and productive classroom atmosphere.
- Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's development and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of best practices in early childhood education.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles
- Experience in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Proficiency in lesson planning that incorporates various subjects such as math, physical education, and creative arts.
- Ability to manage behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among children.
- Previous experience in daycare or private school settings is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with young children.
